The Hooky bubble is one tag, placed once right before </body>, in the template shared by every page:

  • AI tools (Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor, Replit, Claude, ChatGPT): you paste the install prompt, and the AI puts the tag in the right place. Your dashboard gives it to you with your site’s key already in it.
  • Visual editors (Framer, Webflow, WordPress): you paste the tag into the site’s custom code, in the footer.
  • Hand-coded site: one line before </body>. With Next.js, the Script component (see the docs).

Your tool isn’t listed? Shopify, Windsurf, a static site, a custom CMS: if it accepts a <script> tag, Hooky works.

What happens next

Publish your site: the bubble appears at the bottom of the screen. Your visitors write without an account, and you reply from the Hooky app (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android) or the web dashboard. If they leave after giving their email, your reply follows them by email. And if your site has two addresses (the tool’s and your domain), declare both: everything lands in the same place.
